SUMMARY:Cansiglio InVita
DESCRIPTION:From June 26 to 28\, 2026\, the fourth edition of Cansiglio InVita – Festival of Planetary Health will welcome citizens\, experts from various fields\, and local figures for three days full of opportunities for learning\, hands-on experiences\, dialogue\, and discovery in the field. The goal will be to explore the connections between human health and the health of animals\, ecosystems\, and the planet\, in line with the Third Mission activities (science outreach) of the University of Padua. \n\nStarting this year\, Cansiglio InVita is expanding its name\, becoming a Planetary Health festival\, a multidisciplinary theme that was already featured in last year’s edition. Planetary health is a field of research\, discussion\, and action based on a systemic vision of health. While research so far has focused particularly on the consequences for human health of environmental conditions\, which are highly influenced by human actions themselves\, Cansiglio InVita aims to send a broader message and reflection: it’s time to move beyond a purely anthropocentric view and shift towards a more ecocentric one\, changing the way we look at human-nature interactions and live to protect the necessary balance among all the elements that make up the ‘Earth system’. \n\n\nDownload the program in PDF

The 2024 edition\, organized by the Automobile Club Treviso\, will underline the particularity of the celebration of the centenary of the Cansiglio event.A further novelty is the participation of the event in the CIVM nord – Aci Sport Italian Mountain Speed ​​Championship: a satisfaction for the sports enthusiasts of the area.\nFinally\, the Cansiglio route should be underlined: the most fascinating and technical at a European level: “doing” the Cansiglio means having reached a specific level of maturity and experience on the part of the specialty pilots. DESCRIPTION:The Province of Treviso is ready to start safety works on the SP 422 Alpago-Cansiglio\, in the municipal area of Fregona. \n\nThis is\, they explain from Sant’Artemio\, “a necessary intervention to carry out works to protect against falling rocks on the road\, to protect drivers\, cyclists and pedestrians.
