DESCRIPTION:Vittorio Veneto Cansiglio turns 100.\nThe 42nd edition – the centenary edition (1924 – 2024) of Vittorio Veneto Cansiglio. The sporting event will take place in Fregona from August 23rd to 25th. 5930 are the meters that separate the start in Mezzavilla di Fregona from the arrival – in Valsalega. The 2024 edition\, organized by the Automobile Club Treviso\, will underline the particularity of the celebration of the centenary of the Cansiglio event.A further novelty is the participation of the event in the CIVM nord – Aci Sport Italian Mountain Speed ​​Championship: a satisfaction for the sports enthusiasts of the area.\nFinally\, the Cansiglio route should be underlined: the most fascinating and technical at a European level: “doing” the Cansiglio means having reached a specific level of maturity and experience on the part of the specialty pilots. The appointment is in Fregona on 24 and 25 August!

DESCRIPTION:The Province of Treviso is ready to start safety works on the SP 422 Alpago-Cansiglio\, in the municipal area of Fregona. \n\nThis is\, they explain from Sant’Artemio\, “a necessary intervention to carry out works to protect against falling rocks on the road\, to protect drivers\, cyclists and pedestrians. The work\, with a total value of 1\,316\,700 euros\, will start from today 20 May\, with changes in the road section from km 26 to km 28”\, according to the following general timetable. \n\nFrom May 20th to September 27th (outside the absolute closing times indicated below) an alternating one-way system regulated by traffic lights and/or traffic lights with a speed limitation of 30 km/h will be established. Closures may be made for short periods – maximum 10 minutes – managed by the traffic police\, during which immediate transit of emergency vehicles will be permitted. \n\nFrom May 27th to June 28th there will be a closure with an absolute ban on circulation for pedestrians\, cycles and any means of transport\, in the same stretch\, from Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 6.30pm.

During the three weekends of the Exhibition\, the tasting counter will feature Torchiato and the extraordinary red and passito wines of our DOCG together with our local whites\, which our volunteers will offer lovingly combined with tasty dishes and delicious cicchetti. \n\nthe 2024 program of the Exhibition includes some food and wine events and in-depth analysis on the topic of viticulture as well as hill walks and convivial moments\, during which we will be happy to welcome you. \n\nFurthermore\, in connection with the “Root Tourism” project\, we will tell you about Fregona’s emigration with an exciting photographic exhibition\, re-proposed and enriched thanks to the sensitivity of Michela Pizzol Giacomini. \n\nWe look forward to seeing you in Fregona\, from 3 to 19 May. \n\nFrancesca Bertolin – Ass.
